If you need more information as to which Associations you belong to, visit the Hockey Calgary website, hockeycalgary.ca under 'Registration', 'Associations'.
Player division is by year of birth. This applies city-wide with no exceptions.
These are our 17/18 Registration Fees. The Community Stream fees have increased by 3% to 4% due to an increase in ice and referee rates imposed on us. Crowfoot Hockey will be providing these items to our community stream players: Team Snap, ePACT online medical form and game socks. Crowfoot Hockey prides itself in having one of the lowest fee rates in the City.

Note the following when you register:
1) Respect In Sport Online Course
If you are new to hockey you must first take the "Parent Respect In Sport (RIS)" online course before you can register and get access to the Hockey Canada Registry (HCR). The fee for this course is $12.60. https://hockeyalbertaparent.respectgroupinc.com Choose “Crowfoot” as your hockey association. Parents that took this course previous to 2014 will have to retake this course. Families that do not have this course cannot access the registration database to register.
If parents have completed RIS previously but are registering a new participant this season, they need to add the new participant to their account in order for the RIS certification to show up in the HCR profile, here’s the link to the instructions to complete this: https://www.hockeycalgary.ca/assets/file/Link_Respect_in_Sport.pdf You will then be able to register your child once added.
2) HOW WE CONTACT YOU - Primarily with email.
Player/Participant Email: This is the only email address we use to contact you prior to team formation. Please ensure that this is the main and most reliable email to reach you. Do not put your child's email address in this field. And do not put more than one email address in the data entry field as neither email address will be recognized.
3) Use this link to register online (Hockey Canada Registry) starting June 1st. You can choose credit card payment or cheque submission. If you are paying by credit card, the full payment is processed on the date you register.

The Crowfoot Timbits program is for players age 5 and 6 years old. Our program begins September 9th and runs until early March. Players will be placed on either Junior teams (new to hockey) or Senior teams (with Timbits experience or strong skating skills). The September and early October dates will be variable. The set schedule beginning mid-October will then be: every three out of four Wednesdays at 4:15, 5:15 or 6:30 pm and every Saturday morning with rotating time slots. Full hockey equipment is required including a practice jersey to start the program. The equipment list can be found on our website under the 'Info' tab.
NOVICE, ATOM, PEEWEE PROGRAM:
All players in the divisions of Atom and PeeWee will begin evaluations the week of September 4th. Hockey and skating skills will be accessed so to place the player on a team with those with similar ability. Evaluation information will be emailed to parents posted on the website. A list of required hockey equipment can be found on our website under the 'Info' tab. Atom and PeeWee Teams will be set by September 24th. Novice players will start practice sessions the week of September 4th, with teams finalized in October.
House League for Novice, Atom and PeeWee: New for 2017 - PeeWee divison is added to our House League Program.
We are zoned with Bow River and Northwest Warriors house league players, pooled together and are called the North West House League. Click on the link below for more information. If you live in the Crowfoot boundary, registration is the same format using the Hockey Canada Registry (HCR) or form and cheque payments.
House League Information
After September 1st, players cannot change their registration stream (ie House League to Community and vice versa). The House League registration is on a first come basis and players may be wait listed.
Atom and PeeWee House League Goalies: Crowfoot will accept the first 4 Atom Goalie registrations, then goalies will be wait-listed. Atom and PeeWee Goalies must commit to playing this position for the entire season and have their own equipment.
Goalies at the Novice level is by player rotation. Goalie gear is supplied to each Novice team.
Additional House League info is found under our Info tab.
BANTAM and MIDGET PROGRAM:
Evaluations for this age group will begin at the end of September, with set drop-in conditioning times available earlier in September. Teams will be finalized by mid-October. Hockey Calgary has removed body-checking in Bantam and Midget Division 4 and below. As part of the registration process, all players will be asked if they prefer to play in a non-checking divison.
If a child is new to hockey or from a hockey community outside of Calgary, a copy of the birth certificate is required to be mailed or dropped off to the administration office at Crowfoot Arena. There is a blue drop off ox in the Crowfoot Arena lobby. The Crowfoot Arena is attached to the Crowfoot YMCA.
Players aged Atom and higher can indicate their preference to play goal and will be evaluated as such (full goalie gear is required). We will make every effort to accommodate all goaltenders, though we cannot guarantee your child will play this position within our Association. The number of teams established in the division will determine the number of goalies required. Please contact our goalie coordinator if you have further questions at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Crowfoot Hockey would like to thank all volunteers for your dedication in the 2017/18 season and we hope your enthusiasm brings you back for the upcoming year. The success of the Crowfoot Hockey Association is only a result of its devoted volunteers.
